When I was just a puppy, mom used to keep me sectioned off in the laundry room. Yeah, I know.. SO MEAN! right? Anyway, the only thing keeping me from busting out of there was a cardboard box she would put in the doorway. The box was taller than I was, so in order to see mom on the other side, I had to stand on my hind legs. I got really good at this. Every time she was in the kitchen, I&#8217;d stand up and see her most beautiful face! But then one day I got smart and realized I could move the empty cardboard box with my body (or maybe I fell against it and it moved out of the doorway.. whatever, I still figured it out myself). After that, mom bought a baby gate and locked me in. SO MEAN! But I can&#8217;t fully blame her. We lived with grandma and grandpa, and ol&#8217; granny didn&#8217;t like me running my dirty paws all over the carpet. But as soon as we moved out, mom let me run freeeeeeeee all over the house. I was so free that I got the carpet super dirty! Oops. I guess that&#8217;s what grandma was trying to prevent. Oh, well. It&#8217;s ok.
