Hooray! I get to spend a full day with mom today and all my aunties and uncles! They all came over with food! Not that it mattered because I’m not allowed to eat their food anyway. Mom says it makes me fat and might shorten my life span. I say it’s balls. I want to eat what she’s eating!!! So not fair. But I quickly forgot about that when my aunties and uncles played games with me. We played fetch and they rubbed my belly. They even picked me up like a baby (which I kind of hate), but I let them do it anyway (until I started squirming). I love having extra playmates in addition to mama!

I wish it was the weekend already. I like sleeping in on Saturdays. Though sometimes if mom is up really late Friday night, I don’t get to go out and do my business until it’s almost noon! What a lazy person mommy is for sleeping in! Some Fridays, mom stays home with me. I like those Fridays. Except when she decides she wants to go out shopping. Then I don’t like those days. Unless she gives me a treat before she leaves. Then I don’t even realize she’s gone until after I’ve finished my treat. It’s like.. smell ya later, mom!

Howdy! I am so awesome at my new trick! I can totally keep a treat on my nose and be still without making the treat fall before mom says it’s okay to eat! Even if that means keeping my head at a crazy angle so that the treat doesn’t fall off my nose.. I can do it! I. AM. AWESOME!!!!!!

Total blue balled! Mama wasn’t home to greet me after uncle picked me up from the kennel. I haven’t seen her in a week! Where the heck is she? At least I’m not at the kennel anymore, and I’m glad I have a backyard to run around in and a house to play with my toys in. I had diarrhea today. What the heck where those ladies feeding me? I made a big stinky loud squirty fart on my uncle as I pooped. It was fun!

I went with mom to work yesterday! I was sooo excited! She put the harness on me as if we were going for a walk, but as soon as she grabbed her purse I knew we were going someplace special and I just could NOT contain myself! I was bursting with fruit flavors of joyous joy joy joy! I hopped into the car and cried tears of happiness all the way there. When we parked, I peed and pooed (twice!) before getting inside the office. Oh boy oh boy oh boy I was excited! Then we get into her office, she sits down in front of the computer, and I’m stuck sitting next to her. Hmm, this scenario looks familiar. If I wanted to watch mom on the computer we could have just stayed home!! So now I’m all bored and whimpering because I want to go outside and play! I guess going to work with mom isn’t all that fun. Though I’d rather be with her than at home, sleeping alone.

So yesterday I said I had mommy totally trained, well, today she has me totally trained! I am finally able to do my dog trick! Mom puts a delicious treat on my nose, and instead of me moving my head or curling up my lips or twitching or going cross eyed (okay, I still go cross eyed), I am able to keep the treat on my nose until mom says it’s okay to eat! She likes to put me through torture when it comes to yummy treats, but I will do anything to make her happy because I wuv her to pieces!! And she wuvs me to pieces too! We wuv each other to pieces! Now if only I could stay frozen long enough for mom to snap a photo.. oh well, you can’t win ’em all!

Guess what?! Chicken butt! Okay, guess what again? Chicken fin! Just kidding, that doesn’t even make sense! But really, guess what?? Mama took me out on a long walk again! She skipped out on her work out so we went on a nice walk. While mama is getting fat, I am getting skinny!! Ooh I’m gonna look so sexy this summer all slimmed down in my swim trunks! I made two big poopies on the walk! And then just now after my nightly bathroom break, I burped like a dirty old man when mama was taking the harness off me. Hehe I’m funny!!

Mommy took me on a long walk today and it isn’t even a weekend! She said it was because she didn’t exercise today. Hey, that’s cool with me! I wish she wouldn’t exercise everyday so we’d go on long walks more often! But then she’d be fat. But I don’t care. I love her no matter how she looks.. as long as she gives me treats. After our walk, she gave me a big dinner. I may have eaten a little too much. I puked twice. The first time I hid it from mama and ate it back up. The second time I up-chucked too loudly so she mopped up my vomit before I could eat it again. I’m hungry!

Mommy’s home!! HOORAY!!! I wasn’t expecting her today! Well, she told me when she’d be back, but I have a bad memory. I was so happy to see her, I greeted her at the door and gave her a hug. Then she picked me up and gave me a hug back and a kiss. Then she took me out to sniff the grass, and then she fed me dinner! Ma knows the way to my heart is through my stomach! Nom nom nom I was so hungry, thanks for the food, mama! But NO THANKS for leaving me for a few days! Next time take me on vacation with you!!

Today was one of the most exciting days of my life!! I almost caught a squirrel!!!! It didn’t see me coming up from behind him, so I ran and he was cornered, but he ran past me. I was on his tail, but he got away. I was also restrained by mama’s leash. Stupid leash! She said something about catching rabies from the squirrel, but uh, hello!! I’ve had my rabies shot!! DUR! Oh well, it was still fun!
