Guess who I met? Ok, I didn’t actually meet him. But he met me! Sorta. Alcide Herveaux! My werebrother from another mother! Here he is holding up a photo of me on my uncle’s phone. He thinks I’m cute. Who wouldn’t? I mean, come on! I’m adorable!

Surprise, surprise. My mom went on vacation again. This time she sent me to the kennel. For two weeks!! Well, it was kinda fun.. like a vacation from her (but why would I want to go on a vacation without mom? And why would she go on vacation without me?!?) Mom bought me extra playtime at the kennel, so that was cool of her. She also ordered me a super cute haircut. I like it, but don’t tell mom I think it makes me look like a girl. She paid good money for this haircut!

Mom loves her new iPhone. She especially loves to take pictures of me and then edit them with her camera app. I’m like, gah geez, mom, can you take enough pictures of me? But I don’t blame her. I make a great photography subject. I am so photogenic and good looking. Who wouldn’t want to take a billion photos of me???

My mom dressed up as a pretty pretty ballerina for Halloween, so she thought it was appropriate to dress me up as one. Uh, mom.. I’m a boy. Not a girl in a pink tutu! Although I must admit I do look pretty.. I mean handsome.. in this tutu. I guess I just look good in whatever mom puts me in. It’s hard being this cute!

Happy Halloween! No, UNhappy Halloween! Mama always dresses me up in these nonsensical costumes. A cow? I ain’t a cow! Hey, don’t have a cow, man! Eat Mor Chiken! Why must she dress me up in these silly get-ups? I like to bark and be fierce when the doorbell rings and scare the little trick or treaters away! Off my property, you little minions!

The other day mom took me for a walk and we passed by a window display of a cat charm. I saw it and immediately growled and barked at it and did my caution dance. Mom was laughing at me the entire time. It took me a while to realize it wasn’t real and that it didn’t even look like a real cat. Then I looked to the right and saw a dog charm and did the same thing! Mom picked me up and held me right in front of the cat charm and laughed. What a bia!!! Rub it in why don’t you!!

Mom is finally back from her world-wind tour of the world (did I just repeat myself?).. and of course she went on vacation without me!! She left me home to fend for myself! Just kidding. My auntie took care of me while mama was gone. We had lots of fun. She fed me snausages, but I didn’t get to show her my trick because I was too busy eating the treats.

My mom taught me this trick a year ago and we haven’t been practicing it for a while, but I still remember it! I am so unbelievably awesome I can’t stand it! Actually I can stand it ’cause I love to stand. Isn’t that awesome? Aren’t I awesome? I love Snausages!

Dear Internets,
Today I helped with the laundry. I sat in the laundry basket while mom washed and dried the clothes. Then we had a photo shoot, and the end result is this magnificent photo to the left. Chores are fun.

Wake up wake up wake up .. it’s the end of the month….. get up get up get up .. so cash your checks in the bank…. Happy May 31st! Hope you had a splendid Memorial Day weekend! I sure did! I made some big poopies, chased a few squirrels, barked at a bird, and ate grass! Sounds like a great holiday (or any day, really) to me! Hope my June is exactly like my May!
