Oakie Doesn’t Do Much

There goes mom again with her iPhone. Here I am trying to sleep, but she keeps shoving that phone camera in my face! To keep me from escaping, she wrapped me in a straight jacket and forced me to be cute. Haha, I’m just kidding. You don’t have to force cute on me. I am already naturally cute. And that’s not a straight jacket. It’s a towel I like to have wrapped around me when I sleep. Aren’t I the cutest burrito?

Mom loves her new iPhone. She especially loves to take pictures of me and then edit them with her camera app. I’m like, gah geez, mom, can you take enough pictures of me? But I don’t blame her. I make a great photography subject. I am so photogenic and good looking. Who wouldn’t want to take a billion photos of me???

Mom brushes my teeth every night. Every night I try to sleep in a position where it’s difficult for her to brush my teeth. Nothing works. She still comes at me with that tiny toothbrush and peanut butter flavored toothpaste. You’d think it’d taste like peanut butter, but it tastes like nastiness rubbed all over my teef. Ma, I’m trying to sleep! Quit it with the fresh breath bidness! I ain’t havin’ it!

Mom went to Taiwan (yes, another vacation!), and all I got was a stupid tie. But I must say, I do look pretty good in it. It was the most expensive thing mom purchased at $7! What a rip off! Everything else she bought was $1-3. I feel so special. I’m totally worth it.

My mom dressed up as a pretty pretty ballerina for Halloween, so she thought it was appropriate to dress me up as one. Uh, mom.. I’m a boy. Not a girl in a pink tutu! Although I must admit I do look pretty.. I mean handsome.. in this tutu. I guess I just look good in whatever mom puts me in. It’s hard being this cute!

Dear Internets,
Today I helped with the laundry. I sat in the laundry basket while mom washed and dried the clothes. Then we had a photo shoot, and the end result is this magnificent photo to the left. Chores are fun.

Wake up wake up wake up .. it’s the end of the month….. get up get up get up .. so cash your checks in the bank…. Happy May 31st! Hope you had a splendid Memorial Day weekend! I sure did! I made some big poopies, chased a few squirrels, barked at a bird, and ate grass! Sounds like a great holiday (or any day, really) to me! Hope my June is exactly like my May!

Hello there. This is my one post for the month of May. I’m a lazy dog who doesn’t like to blog anymore. Well, not really. My mom is just too busy traveling instead of writing my blog for me.. how am I supposed to type with these furry paws? Who wishes mom would stop traveling and stay at home with me all day and blog about my life? If I had two thumbs, I’d point to myself and say “this guy!”

I’m BACCCCKKKKKKK! Back from a super long hiatus of doing nothing except being lazy and not writing in my journal. I only have mother to blame because she is my fingers. I can’t type with these paws! Gaw! So much to catch up on, so little time. I’m going to take a nap now. This is hard.

Sometimes I like to sit up like a human being and fool the people around me into thinking I’m one of them. But they quickly figure out I’m a dog when I can’t hold my fork correctly. Curse these paws.
