It is the beginning of a very exciting week. Yep yep. Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’ll know that it’s my birth week! I turn 10 on the 26th! Can you believe it? I’m so old! But I feel so young! But only sometimes. More times I am stretching my cranky joints and making old man noises when I move. But I can still play like a pup!

Happy August! It’s my birth month! I am so excited that I am going to post another picture of me and my 8th birthday sandwich. Why isn’t there a 9th birthday sandwich photo you ask? Because mama didn’t throw me a birthday party for my 9th birthday. That old forgetful hag! Well, she didn’t forget my birthday.. she gave me some nice presents and treats. But she didn’t make me a sammich! I want sammich!!!! Please?!

July is almost over! It’ll be only a few days until I turn 10. I hope mom gets me something special.. like a sandwich. I love sandwiches. They are so good. They combine my favorite things. Bread. Gooood. Meat. Goooood. Cheese. Goooooood. My mouth is watering and drool is dripping down as I type. Excuse me as I use my paw to wipe my mouth.

As summer is passing me by, I am slowly approaching my tenth birthday! I will be 10 in August! Oh my goodness. I am an old foagie. But I don’t always feel so old. Sure, when I wake up in the morning I need to stretch and let everyone know I’m stretching with the old man noises I am making. And sure if you pick me up like a baby I will make grumpy old man noises telling you to put me down because my back can’t take it. And sure if we go on a walk, I can’t make it as far as I used to and you have to carry me home. But I am young at heart! I like to run around the house like a crazed maniac at times, and I like to jump on and off the bed like a baby kangaroo. I’m a puppy at heart!

Nope, it’s not my birthday. I just wanted to post a photo of me celebrating my 8th birthday with a delicious ham & cheese sandwich and some Milkbones. It was the best birthday ever because it was the only birthday party mom threw for me. She didn’t give me a party when I turned 9. What a rip off. I’ll be turning 10 in August. That’s a big milestone! I hope I get a ham & cheese sandwich this year.. and some Milkbones.. and Snausages.. and Beggin Strips!! That’d be swell!
