Here I am looking out the balcony. I like to see people walk by. I especially like to see people walking their dogs. Then I go crazy and bark because I think they can hear me. My barks are scary. I scare birds away without any effort. My bark is so ferocious!

Day 4 of mom on vacation
Dear Diary,
I am going to stop counting how many days mom has been gone on vacation ’cause it is driving me bonkers! I should just pretend I am on vacation from mom. Yay! That means I can jump on her bed, rub my face and mouth all over the carpet, drag my stinky butt across the floor, and puke everywhere! Hooray! Oakie vacation time!!

Day 1 of mom on vacation.
Dear Diary,
Yesterday after mom left, I had a pretty good time! The family came over for dinner and they all played with me! I was tired afterwards! So many aunties and uncles! When can we do this again?!

Happy Tuesday! I remember my Tuesdays not long ago. I’d sit on mama’s lap, and we’d watch LOST together. Sigh. Those days are gone. Hurley is gone. No more Sawyer and his awesome pecks. Wha? I mean, did I say that out loud? I mean, I don’t like his pecks! That’s so not straight of me! It’s mom! She’s influenced me! I like cats! I mean, I like girls! Dogs! Woof!

Monday. Bleh. Oh, Thursday, you can’t come soon enough. I can’t wait to see what kind of treats and goodies mom has in store for my birthday. It’d better be good this year, because last year she got me.. NOTHING! It was a total rip off. I can’t believe how rude she is. I guess it makes up for that big bag of nothing I got her for her birthday. But then again, my presence alone is gift enough! Duh!!

It is the beginning of a very exciting week. Yep yep. Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’ll know that it’s my birth week! I turn 10 on the 26th! Can you believe it? I’m so old! But I feel so young! But only sometimes. More times I am stretching my cranky joints and making old man noises when I move. But I can still play like a pup!

I love my toy Purple Guy with Big Feet. I think I’ve blogged about him before. He’s my best friend. Well, the best friend a rubber toy can be. He’s so fun to play catch with. He’s also fun to hold in my mouth because he’s got all these different grooves. He’s also really squeaky, and I love high-pitched squeaky toys! Oh, Purple Guy with Big Feet, I loves you!

Another photo of me being really cute and chewing on that same toy. Fast forward a few days, that toy is now missing it’s antennas and the tips of it’s “fur.” I love my toys, I really do. I just love destroying them more. It’s GRRRrrrreat!

Mom had the day off today, and what did she do? She went to the movies. Without me. How rude is that? She left me home, all alone, with no one to play with. She even got herself a haircut afterwards. Um, hello?! I need a haircut, too! It’s August and it’s HOT! I need a nice shave on my belly. I need my pubes trimmed, too so that my pee doesn’t catch on to them so much. Hehe. I said pubes.

I love my toys. I will drop everything when I hear my toys squeak. If the second floor did not have railing and the ball fell over the edge, I would probably jump just to grab the ball. Does that mean I love my toys or that I’m kind of dumb? Maybe a little bit of both. But I cannot resist the squeak!!
Squeak!!
